Day 13: Slide In on Scroll

This challenge was to implement a slide in animation on the photos as you scroll down the page.

What did I learn?

It can get complicated really quickly. Having to keep track of the offsets, heights and scrollY's can get overwhelming. One trick is to explicitly spell out your variable names - regardless of length. I find that this helps my brain process a little easier while I'm putting the pieces together.

If you find yourself gravitating towards animation libraries on a regular basis, it's good practice to take pieces of it and try implementing it yourself using JS fundamentals - the same way Wes does in this challenge. This will increase your understanding of the components and likely help you debug future bugs.
